What can I expect at my appointments?

You can expect 40 minutes to relax, listen to your favorite music with your iPod or our piped in "Classical" music.  At each treatment you will be met by your technician, who will position the laser at the desired areas of the body.  Your technician will then step out for 20 minutes while the front of your body is treated and then will return to reset the laser for the backside of your body for another 20 minutes. After you are done you can get back to your normal activities immediately with absolutely no downtime, nor pain, swelling or any discomfort. This is a symptom -free process except for losing unwanted inches.
   
  Is the procedure FDA approved?
   
Yes. This procedure is FDA approved.
   
 
How important is it to wear the compression garment and to drink plenty of fluids during
the two week treatment period?
   
These are essential if you want to achieve the best results.
   
 
Will ZERONA get rid of cellulite?
   
The ZERONA laser reduces contours due to excess fat, not cellulite. No creams will ever reduce cellulite, because cellulite is caused by excess fat in the fat cell which stretches at its connective tissue creating the dimple appearance. And YES, ZERONA will reduce the amount of fat in those cells.
   
  Will the fat deposit "elsewhere?"
   
Fat removed by ZERONA is metabolized and removed by the body. There is no evidence that this fat deposits elsewhere.
   
  Can the fat return?
   
As with liposuction, gaining weight by poor diet and exercise habits may undo the results of the ZERONA laser.
   
  Am I a good candidate for ZERONA?
   
The new laser treatment is safe for essentially all men and women with a few notable exceptions.  Patients with congestive heart failure should consult with their PCP (Primary Care Physician) or Cardiologist concerning any limitations of drinking large amounts of water daily.  Pregnant or nursing women should not undergo Zerona Treatments.
No studies have found any adverse side effects for any adults or children, but we don't recommend taking any unnecessary risks. Individuals should also have healthy physically and psychologically attitudes with realistic goals and expectations.
