An adventurous story we can all relate to in some way.
A young boy named Joe demands his inheritance and leaves home lured by his selfish desires and the ways of the world. He wants to just have fun without any responsibilities. The consequences of his actions take him through a journey of some difficulty and disappointment. He is full of doubt and sorrow, but finally comes to himself and once again is lovingly reconciled with his family and friends who love him very much. He discovers all is not lost and is happily welcomed back home with much celebration.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dr. Babette has her hand in many areas as an educator, public speaker and artist.
She grew up in a coastal city encased by the vast Atlantic seashore, in South Africa, under the shadow of the beautiful Table Mountain in Cape Town. She and her family, Jonathan, the illustrator, and two beautiful children immigrated to the USA in 1997. They continued their studies, and Dr. Babette completed her PhD in the field of education.
Her passion is serving in the community to impact peoples’ lives. She had the opportunity of coordinating an orphanage in Africa for impoverished children in the early 90’s. Seeing the impact positive life building principles had among these precious children, inspired Dr. Babette du Plessis-Biddlecombe to continue to fulfill her dreams in the field of education, by teaching these principles that work for a healthier more fulfilled and holistic lifestyle.
